If so, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Building Liaison Officer to join our team and would love to hear from you!, In this interesting role, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of facilities services to customers and colleagues within our Unity Square office, based in Nottingham. This will include overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of our premises and mail, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment.
As Building Liaison Officer, you will manage the Facilities Desk, ensuring that all protocols and procedures are constantly adhered to whilst supporting DVSA colleagues. This will include assisting staff with the booking and coordination of meeting rooms, undertaking messenger duties, including accepting deliveries, and ordering services and supplies as required.
You will be responsible for supporting management in maintaining full compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring the smooth operation of the premises and responding to daily operational needs as they arise. This will include acting as Incident Controller and First Aider, and liaising with HMRC Estates Team to arrange training for first aiders, fire wardens and other Health and Safety related training.
As you will have a customer facing role, you will liaise with internal stakeholders to address and resolve building related issues, and build relationships with external suppliers and service providers, ensuring effective collaboration to support the ongoing needs of the building.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Managing email inboxes and filing systems, and responding to queries and requests.
+ Supporting the wider team as and when required, including chasing work orders, replying to emails and making phone calls.
+ Developing relationships with external suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors to ensure statutory compliance and maintenance of service standards
+ Undertaking post opening by midday each day, ensuring post is properly prioritised.
