Full Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Building Officer to join our Facilities Management team. Overseeing the day-to-day Facilities Management operations of KCC's Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASC) portfolio. What you'll do: Delivering day to day operational support of a number of buildings to ensure the accommodation and services are delivered to a high standard. Liaising with building stakeholders and managing contractors. Oversee the ongoing programme of building audits and performance across a range of services to ensure continuous improvement, building standards, compliance and H&S requirements are met. Ensuring building safety, functionality and efficiency whilst delivering excellent customer service to all building users.
Are you experienced in building or property management? Do you have a Level 3 qualification in a building related field? Do you have team management experience? Do you strive for excellence?,
- Experience of Facilities Management
- High level of experience of partnership working within a public sector setting
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and building compliance
- This role will require travel across the county and office estate.
