Building Surveyor

Redditch Borough Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Crossgates House on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and integrity of our buildings through the effective delivery of the Fire Risk Assessment Action Plan and associated works.,

• Fire Risk Assessment: Take full responsibility for the delivery of the Fire Risk Assessment Action Plan, ensuring all associated works are completed to the highest standards.


• Building Surveying Duties: Assist the Capital Programmes Team with a variety of building surveying tasks, including:



• Disrepairs


• Structural Repairs


• Void Refurbishments


• Planned Programmes
  
  Proven experience in building surveying, particularly in relation to fire risk assessments.


• Strong understanding of building safety regulations and standards.


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
