Full Job Description

  • To prepare tender documentation in respect of façade remediations schemes to mid and high rise buildings.
  • Undertake detailed analysis of exiting building facades and provide technical reports in accordance with current codes of practice and guidance.
  • Provide advice and guidance on design principles and material specifications in relation to the external envelope of multi storey buildings.
  • Negotiate prices and costs in relation to remediation works.
  • Act as client representative, employers agent, contract administrator, etc on façade remediation works.

    Minimum HNC/HND in Building Technology, Surveying or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • Minimum 5years post qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Current full driving licence.
  • Either currently or working towards full membership of a relevant professional organisation such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Institute of Building, or similar.
  • A current and in date member of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme, or willingness to achieve membership.
