Bulk Driver / Loader - Grade 5 (£31,986 £32,931)

As part of our vision to transform housing services, we are recruiting a Bulk Driver/Loader to join our Estates and Environmental Services Team to help make a real difference to the lives of our residents and local communities. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a customer focussed team, committed to delivering great estate services to meet the needs of our residents. As a Bulk Driver/Loader you will be a highly motivated candidate who works efficiently to remove bulk rubbish from designated housing areas, ensuring this is disposed of at the appropriate refuse site. The role

• You will be responsible for the collection of bulk rubbish from designated housing sites using the vehicle supplied ensuring the vehicle is maintained correctly.
· You will ensure that refuse is disposed of correctly at the appropriate refuse site. · You will maintain effective communication with Neighbourhood caretaking staff to ensure that all rubbish is cleared.

· You will be passionate, bringing plenty of energy and initiative to this role and ensure you deliver excellent customer service to improve the resident experience. · You will enjoy working directly with our customers and Estate Services team members to remove bulk items from our estates, recognising the importance of taking ownership to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. · Be empathetic and the ability to put yourself in the customers' shoes. · You will have experience of working in a public service delivery environment and experience of driving and operating a 7 ½ tonne tipper lorry or similar vehicle.
