Full Job Description
- To assist newly qualified PCV drivers in gaining supervised, on the road, practical driving experience.
- To develop and maintain a purposeful, empowering, supportive and ongoing relationship with the newly qualified PCV drivers throughout the duration of the program.
- Conduct vehicle type training and route leaning, showing all curtailments, light running, accident black spots, road position at difficult junctions, while demonstrating exceptional local knowledge.
- Give constructive feedback to probation staff and managers on employee progress.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or other incidents on the day of observance using the appropriate incident form.

We are looking for passionate and experienced Bus Drivers/ PCV Drivers with minimum 12 months experience who have a calling to supporting and mentor newly qualified bus drivers! We're looking for people who are driven to provide excellent customer service within our local Manchester communities, making the journeys to our customers' favourite places and people an enjoyable experience. The role will involve conducting vehicle type training, route learning and depot inductions. When no mentoring duties are available, you would revert to your normal driving duties., For this position we need you to have a minimum of 12 months PCV driving experience. - A positive and professional approach with excellent communication skills to engage and assist our newly trained drivers and passengers from all walks of life.
