Our Business Administrator consists of an 18-month long opportunity to build on your organisational and communication skills, develop the skills and knowledge by working with staff across the Council to help us achieve our vision to make Hammersmith & Fulham one the most inclusive boroughs in the country and apply your can-do' attitude whilst working towards a Level 3 Business administrator qualification. Working in the Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) Repairs Team you will :

  • Support the DLO team in ensuring the effective delivery of the repairs and maintenance service.
  • Carry out various administrative tasks to enable service delivery using different I.T. systems.
  • Raise work orders to contractors in accordance with instruction from the office manager and supervisors and within your financial limit.
  • Contribute to the effective monitoring of the Client Services being delivered for planned and reactive works / services.
  • Training and Development you will :
  • Complete a Level 3 Business administrator qualification funded by the Council. This will involve attendance at a college and / or completing tasks in the workplace (depending on specific course requirement).
  • Join a personal and professional development programme that will involve a series of varied development activities and events throughout your time with the Council.
  • Be aged 16+ and be a resident of Hammersmith and Fulham.
  • Working in Hammersmith & Fulham Council We will support your development through the activities mentioned above and through the ongoing support of your manager and a mentoring programme.

  • Be aged 16+ who has lived in the UK.
  • Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years (as part of the funding requirement).
  • Not currently be qualified in Business Administration at Level 3 or above.
  • Currently not undertaking any other formal form of study (e.g. college or university course).
