We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated individual to join our Business Admin Team based at Maghull Health Park to lead the team of admin staff supporting clinical services.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a broad range of business administration duties, provide leadership to the team and project support to ensure delivery of key strategic objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who is committed to providing high quality businessadministration support to clinical services with a focus on customer service andpatient safety.

Working in a dynamic environment, no two days are the same and you will needexcellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills to be part of thebusy team Business Admin Team.

We offer hybrid working between home and office base at Maghull and as our clinicalservices are geographically dispersed across the footprint of the Trust there will beoccasions when you will be required to travel to other sites, to meet the needs of theservice.

Main duties of the job

Who do we want?

To be responsible for the line management of the administration and clerical support services across the Medicines Management Team by promoting a learning culture for colleagues.

The role will include planning, allocating, overseeing, evaluating and delegating a variety of tasks to ensure the provision of an accurate and timely administrative service.

Ensuring staff are deployed appropriately across our multi-disciplinary services in an efficient, effective and organised manner adhering to prescribed standards and ensuring consistency and quality, across the team.

To develop and implement protocols and guidelines that ensures consistency inadministrative support to the integration of the multi-disciplinary services we provide including the production of a variety reports for performance using various statisticaldatabases and Spread sheets.

To undertake the full range of management activities in relation to administrative,secretarial and clerical staff across the service including recruitment and selection, grievance and disciplinary performance monitoring and sickness and absence monitoring to an agreed level in conjunction with Trust and Local policies and procedures within designated timelines.

To exercise judgement and initiative when problems arise by taking appropriate actions to resolve the problem or by referring to the appropriate Senior Manager if appropriate.
