The Exciting Role A new and exciting opportunity has become available for two dedicated and highly-motivated Business Administration Apprentices to join our Sales, Partnership and Engagement team on a full-time basis, working 37 hours per week for a fixed-term period. The role requires an individual that is motivated, enjoys working in a team, is committed to meeting deadlines and is personable, as it will involve working with internal departments and external partners. The successful candidates will support a highly effective, efficient and timely administrative team, as well as develop a range of skills and complete off the job training as an apprentice. You will be supported by an experienced team that will provide a full and varied induction, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills in an exciting, community-driven environment to help you reach your full potential. The role will be based at our Accrington and Rossendale College site but travel across the College campuses (including Nelson & Colne College and Lancashire Adult Learning) may be required. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Compile and process enquiries and applications following College procedures and processes
  • Gain an understanding of funding rules and College processes
  • Support the wider Business Admin teams with general administrative duties
  • Maintain positive relationships with partners and provide support with their queries
  • Please note: Training for the above will be provided What We Are Looking For:
  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • ECDL, CLAIT or equivalent IT qualification or experience
  • Experience of or willingness to develop skills in working in a varied administrative role
  • Experience of or willingness to develop skills in working in busy office environment
  • Experience of meeting deadlines
