Full Job Description

· Supporting various departments within the GLA and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

· Contributing to the efficiency of the organization by adding value and resolving issues as they arise.

· Actively participate in your own development plan under the supervision of your line manager and the training provider., · Complete a Business Administration Level 3 qualification funded by the GLA. You will work in a real job role with the GLA for 80% of your working hours and study toward the apprenticeship for the remaining 20% (equivalent of 1 day a week).

This business administration apprenticeship is an 18-month long opportunity. You will work in a real job role with the GLA for 80% of your working hours and study toward the apprenticeship for the remaining 20% (equivalent of 1 day a week).You will learn a range of skills, behaviours and knowledge, covering topics such as business communication, organisation and problem solving whilst working towards a Business Administration Level 3 qualification.

You will be supported to make the most of your time with the Greater London Authority (GLA), with on and off the job training and plenty of opportunities to contribute to work across the organisation.

An apprenticeship is a structured programme of learning, a combination of on and off the job training. On the job, an apprentice works alongside GLA staff, off the job they undertake a tailored training programme, working towards a nationally recognised level 3 qualification in Business Administration.

They are expected to manage priorities effectively, solve problems, and uphold the integrity and values of the GLA.
