An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Business Administrator to provide our busy Senior Managers across the Inpatient Service with their administration support. It is a busy but interesting role working within a professional and friendly team of administrators in Dawlish. The Secure Services Directorate is based at Langdon Hospital in Dawlish and provides a service that supports people who, as a consequence of their mental health needs, have had contact with the legal system and require a safe and secure environment that enables them to receive a wide range of treatments, therapies and care to assist in their recovery. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in administration and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace., The successful candidate will be supporting the Senior Managers with multiple diaries, drafting reports, undertaking formal minutes and arranging meetings. Liaising with managers and wards and members of the multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will be the point of contact for the managers and will need to be able to work in an environment that changes and reacts to the needs of the services.   • RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent level of experience in practice. NVQ4 in administration or equivalent level administrative knowledge and experience GCSE English or equivalent Evidence of continuing professional and personal development, ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) Shorthand or Speedwriting, Excellent organisational skills. Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to change when required Previous experience of working within an administrative or secretarial team Experience of dealing with confidential and complex information Ability to take accurate formal and informal minutes Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills, Previous experience of working in a Healthcare or Social Care administrative setting
