Full Job Description

You as the Business Administrator will be a 'key' person in the office, you will be efficient and provide exemplary support to the Contracting team. You will be instrumental in the organisation of the office to ensure H&S standards are met and documentation is up to date, contractors are compliant, along with facilities management and security, with all of this you will also provide amazing administrative support to all within the Contracting Business unit of Tarmac. Your role will include (not exhaustive):

  • Coordinate meetings as required, along with supporting the Office Safety Meeting
  • Prioritise and multitask daily duties
  • Supporting the Contracting team with general requests
  • Entering information onto our databases and producing reports
  • Ordering of office stationery supplies and office welfare supplies
  • Maintain spreadsheets of all material used to assist with month end process.
  • Ordering of daily materials, stock replenishment and other ad hoc material requirements.
  • Ensure calibration of equipment is up to data and maintain calibration records.
  • Provide assistance with production of presentations, documents, reports and general correspondence where required in support of your wider team.
  • Answering phones and redirecting any relevant calls, along with monitoring the shared inbox for general emails and queries
