Full Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Business Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by providing comprehensive administrative support to both the office and site-based project team. This role is based fulltime, on-site at HPC (Hinkley Point C). Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Provide support to the Logistics, Construction and Health and Safety team:
- Assisting with delivery arrangements and following up on orders.
- Assisting with the ordering of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the team.
- Managing the Craft team holiday requests, collating the Craft team timesheets and following up on payroll audit requests.
- Support with updating the Safety Observations register. Provide general administrative support for the team:
- Manage administrative tasks, including scanning, printing, arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms.
- Organising documentation, including typing up notes, formatting reports and presentations, checking documentation complies with HPC requirements before release, and updating registers.
- Arranging for visitors to attend site and assisting with the onboarding of the team to site.
Discretion & trustworthiness required to work on a nuclear licensed site. - Strong organisational and logistical skills and experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to provide an agile and flexible service.
- Ability to work across organisations and to multi-task and work under own initiative.
- Able to work under short term pressure to resolve emerging issues in a timely and responsive manner.
- Be competent in using all Microsoft office applications, in particular: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Enjoys being part of a dynamic team with the ability to react to an ever changing, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to achieve BPSS clearance to work in the UK, a full UK driving license, and evidence of the right to work in the UK.
