Full Job Description

As an experienced Business Analyst, you will Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project team members, and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements and expectations, whilst facilitating discussions between stakeholders to resolve conflicts and clarify requirements.

You will be responsible for: (post Requirements Elicitation & Documentation):

1. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project team members, and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements and expectations.

  • Facilitate discussions between stakeholders to resolve conflicts and clarify requirements.


  • 2. Requirements Management:
  • Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all changes are documented, analysed, and communicated effectively.

  • Prioritise requirements based on business needs, resource availability, and project constraints.


  • 3. Testing Support:
  • Assist the Test Manager in developing test plans and test cases that ensure the system meets the business requirements.

  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).


  • 4. User Training and Support:
  • Support training materials development and the delivery of training to end-users.

  • Provide ongoing support to users post-implementation, helping them adapt to the new system and addressing any issues.


  • Key Deliverables:

    1. Gap Analysis: A document identifying the differences between current processes and desired future state, with recommendations for bridging those gaps.
    2. Training Materials: User guides, manuals, and training presentations that help end-users understand how to use the new system effectively.
    3. Use Case/Scenario Development: Develop detailed use cases and scenarios for UAT and training purposes.
    4. Support Testing Preparation: Assist the Test Manager in ensuring test cases align with business requirements.
    5. UAT Support: Work closely with the Test Manager to prepare for UAT, including the validation of test scenarios and participant coordination.
    6. Change Request Management: Handle any change requests that arise from testing, ensuring they are analysed, documented, and approved.
    7. UAT Execution: Support UAT by working with business users to execute test cases and validate that the system meets business needs.
    8. Defect Triage: Help prioritise defects based on business impact, ensuring critical issues are addressed first.
    9. Final Requirements Validation: Ensure all business requirements are fully met and that any changes have been documented and agreed upon.
    10. Training Material Review: Review training materials to ensure they align with business processes and requirements.
    11. Post-UAT Review: Conduct a review of UAT outcomes to ensure that all requirements have been adequately tested and met.
    12. Go-Live Checklist: Develop a checklist to ensure all business-related activities and requirements are completed before go-live.
    13. Post-Go-Live Support: Provide support during the go-live phase, helping to resolve any issues related to business requirements.
    14. Final Documentation: Finalise all business process documentation, including any adjustments made during the project., If external support is required on a vacancy, the role will be released by individual invite to specific agencies on our PSL.
