Full Job Description

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Business Analyst will act as a liaison between the business and technical development teams to ensure business requirements are understood and translated into system and process functionality.,

  • Translate business requirements into detailed system requirements and technical design specifications.

  • Investigate, model, define, refine, and document required business processes.

  • Support the development of training and implementation materials.

  • Assist in integration and acceptance testing, including sprint planning and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Influence relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact for business change design and implementation.

  • Conduct demand analysis for services and ensure necessary investments are made to deliver required services.

  • Monitor and improve services, processes, and systems based on feedback and lessons learned., The Business Analyst will also be expected to demonstrate their commitment :

    You will be an experienced Business Analyst, with excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of the Higher Education environment., Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or similar subject.

  • Relevant experience in a Business Analysis role, preferably within a Higher Education setting.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Positive attitude with a can do' mindset and personal drive to achieve results within a team environment.

  • Solid understanding of the IT project environment, ideally within the Higher Education sector.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload.

  • Proven ability to produce clear and concise documentation.

  • Highly self-motivated and proactive in addressing gaps in provision.

  • Clear communicator with the ability to convey concepts in an accessible manner.

  • Resilient individual capable of working independently and under pressure.


  • Desirable :
  • Business Analysis Foundation certification or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge and experience in the Higher Education sector.
