Full Job Description

Nomad Foods is on a journey of ambitious growth and transformation. To facilitate this, we have initiated a project to implement a Commercial Planning Process and Platform across 13 markets. The objective is to unlock commercial value through process and platform standardisation, trade spend & promotion optimisation and improved commercial decision making.
The project will create one Nomad way for commercial decision making and forecasting across volume and value elements. This is a highly visible and complex change management project that is in its execution phase.
The purpose of this role is to lead and support the implementation of the process and tool across the markets. This will include a wide variety of activities and distinct areas of ownership and responsibility as well as being a key part
Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for delivering their areas of responsibility, supporting the Business Lead and being able to engage and support the business in solving problems.
Requirement Gathering & Prep

  • Engaging with markets to understand needs, gaps and creating plans to close the gaps to ensure alignment

  • Support on Demand Planning, Finance and Sales process changes to ensure correct data available for systems to work correctly

  • Work to resolve data and process issues that exist to ensure delivery of the project


  • Training:
  • Work with 3rd party to extract as much training material as possible

  • Lead the training of the in-market teams on all areas of the system and processes


  • Testing:
  • Undertake some of the testing and reconciliation exercises to support the markets and ensure full system functionality

  • Review testing outcomes for changes and adaptations working with the 3rd party to create and test the fixes

  • Lead the markets through local testing against the scripts ensuring issues are logged and resolved.


  • Market implementation:
  • Support the go-live period in market, being visible and engaging with the users to identify and fix any issues

  • Work with the SMEs in the market and the 3rd party to ensure delivery is in line with expectations, escalating any issues for prompt resolution

  • Data Entry for markets to support go-live processes


  • Hyper User:
  • Have a detailed understanding of the Nomad system landscape, interactions and how to use Exceedra and some elements of SAP.

  • Be one of the escalation points for the users of the system.

  • Have a detailed understanding of system functionality and business processes to either resolve or escalate further the issue to get to a resolution.
