• Are you a data-driven individual with a passion for business intelligence and Power BI?
We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join the Technical function within the Marks & Spencer Connected Security team. Main Duties
• + Working as part of the Technical team, supporting the whole contract by having a good understanding of all applications, technology and data critical to its function. + Develop and understand the end-to-end data architecture critical for Management Information across a broad range of application sources. + Assist with the development and maintenance of quality data within application databases. + Develop and maintain a suite of Power BI reports and dashboards, offering a comprehensive view of performance and developing actionable insights through accurate and timely reporting. + Liaise with operational teams to develop and advise on business processes to ensure accuracy and quality of data. + Support the development and implementation of an integrated approach to dashboard performance reporting as part of ongoing efficiency reviews. + Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Power BI within the contract. + To provide cover for the Technical team on other areas of the function coordinating with various essential stakeholders as required. + Undertaking other duties appropriate to the post and in line with the needs of the organisation as required by your line manager. What we are looking for
• + o Experience in Power BI administration. o Experience of reporting and data manipulation via Power BI, Power Query and DAX o Knowledge and experience of using data visualization tools. o Knowledge of statistical techniques to measure results and show key trends. o The ability to clearly and concisely communicate in various forms, with colleagues at all levels both internally and externally, to build strong stakeholder relationships. o Ability to work with, influence and negotiate with senior employees and managers to affect change and where appropriate challenge constructively. o Ability to work under pressure to challenging timelines whilst demonstrating the ability to prioritize and communicate those priorities appropriately. o Highly motivated, self-starter with a personal commitment to continuous improvement of existing skills and developing others as a data champion and SME. o The ability to work well as part of a wider connected team. o A willingness to learn and broaden understanding of the wider contract. o Flexibility, adaptability, reliability, trustworthy. o Competent user of Microsoft Office 365 systems.
