Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Business Analysts to support a range of programmes and projects within the NHSBSA Portfolio aimed at improving the wider NHS, as well as supporting our own strategic ambitions. We are looking for someone with business analysis experience, who is collaborative, has a strong work ethic and professional pride in business analysis with an eye for detail, the ability to handle complex information and translate into clear outputs. You'll be working as part of a team of business analysts to conduct full business analysis; reporting on the business impact and defining requirements to meet the identified business changes. You'll be responsible for defining the business processes, systems and services vital to implementation of the required business changes. You will be part of a community of Business Analysts using your experience to contribute towards advancing the Business Analyst community through sharing of best practice, learning and collaboration.,

  • Interpreting and proposing changes across a range of service streams.
  • Analysing the impact of new policies, initiatives and business opportunities against our organisational strategic objectives.
  • Development of project business cases to evidence investment decisions.
  • Definition of user stories and management of backlogs.
  • Reporting in detail on the business impact and the development requirements required to meet the identified business changes.
  • Understanding the User experience of services and ensuring this informs service/digital developments.
  • Investigating and defining the business processes, systems and services vital to the successful implementation of the required business changes and the delivery of agreed outcomes/value.
  • Ability to plan releases to deliver value early.
  • Working on projects delivered via waterfall or Agile methodology.
  • Being able to contribute to the development of others in the business analysis community.
