The Business Analysis team is pivotal in driving the strategic initiatives of the Firm, ensuring we deliver optimal solutions and processes. Serving a diverse staff of c2000 users across Europe, the team is responsible for analysing business needs, developing insights, and implementing efficient processes firm-wide. The job holder will be part of a dedicated team that bridges the gap between IT and the Firm's practice groups and business services teams, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly and objectives are met. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and elicit business needs while contributing to the overall success of the Firm's strategic goals. - Experience leading analysis of complex business problems and opportunities. Reviewing processes, demonstrating critical thinking and support the business in making decisions which will drive benefits and add value against its objectives.
- Proven experience in the creation of Business cases and management reports to justify investment. Can identify and track measures needed to realise business benefits.
- Confidently elicit and effectively manage requirements from colleagues both in person and remotely across multiple locations over Europe.
- Identify and document business requirements using a range of business analysis techniques including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and task and workflow analysis.
- Drive and challenge business teams on their identified problems and / or opportunities. Question assumptions of how a solution will meet their needs.
- Strong communication skills, confidently engaging with all stakeholders across the firm at all levels.
- Creation of clear documentation using a broad range of tools and techniques dependent on project delivery method and project needs in line with best practice.
- Experience undertaking Market analysis and presenting decision makers clear and balanced suitability.
- Support team members to continuously improve the firms Business Analysis capability.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements - you will have or develop detailed knowledge of the functionality of key products and comparative products in the market and will maintain users stories and summaries for the solutions, systems and processes which the firm implements, Analytical mindset with ability to resolve complex business problems with excellent user outcomes
- Ability to extract and document business processes and identify where improvements can be made.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to adapt to different working styles to get the most out of the team and project contributors.
- Can evaluate information gathered and distinguish user requests from the underlying true business needs.
- Strong teamworking skills, actively engages in project and team meetings and suggests areas for improvement for internal processes.
- Commercial awareness. Ability to work on multiple independent projects at the same time and manage competing deadlines.
