Full Job Description

We're currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst to join our Kier Places Systems Team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role delivers in process excellence and maturity working closely alongside a wider team of analysts in business systems, asset management and project management., As a Business Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Understanding in detail any business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analysing, and documenting requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare relevant documentation (e.g. Business Requirements Document, Process Maps, Standard Operating Procedures, Training Material) for business improvement activities.
  • Find solutions to business problems and assist in the design of technical/other solutions.
  • Acting as bridge between IT and business stakeholders, including full involvement in Analysis, Test Preparation, Testing and Implementation activities on projects or initiatives.
  • Creation of User Acceptance Test scripts off the back of process and requirements, co-ordinate business SMEs for the execution of to ensure deliverables meet the business needs.
  • Driving process optimisation, including mapping current state (as-is), identifying and measuring waste, defining and mapping target state processes (to-be).

    Experience of designing and delivering high quality training courses with expert knowledge in process modelling
  • Strong experience in a similar role encompassing business analysis and training.
  • Effective customer service skills and able to present confidently.
  • An ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders and able to build trust.
  • An ability to translate technical aspects to non-technical people, translating business requirements to technical people.
