An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Specialised Cancer and Specialised Medicine and Rehabilitation Care Group as a Business Analyst on a permanent basis.
Line management for this post will be through Data Analytics Team which currently sits across 2 clinical Care Groups, Specialised Medicine & Rehabilitation and Specialised Cancer Services. However, the postholder will also work closely with Operational and Service managers across all directorates within the Care Group to support the delivery of clinical services., The Business Analyst will be responsible for the provision of accurate, concise andclear information to support the Trust in its business and clinical processes. Analyseand manipulate complex data sets and wider information issues to produce highquality management information for senior managers and clinical staff in the SCS &SMR Care Groups.
Provision of expertise and analysis to develop, interpret and advise on specialist information issues.
Maintain, develop and enhance work systems to support reporting processes particularly with reference to contracting and performance monitoring.
Ensure that all relevant data submissions are returned on time and that the data reported is accurate.
To maintain and develop good relationships with all external agencies at all levels. Furthermore, to support the management and development of other members within the team.

Specialised Cancer services are delivered at Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield, as well as at District General Hospitals within the wider region of South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
The Specialised Medicine directorate covers Haematology, Dermatology, Infectious Diseases, and Clinical Immunology/Allergy. These services are delivered across both the Hallamshire Hospital and Northern General hospital for patients within Sheffield and across the wider region.
The Specialised Rehabilitation Services (SRS) directorate provides a regional service to patients requiring specialised spinal cord injury rehabilitation, specialist wheelchair and seating services, prosthetic limb and orthotic services and gait laboratory services within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and across the region.
