Full Job Description
We are recruiting a 6-month fixed term contract Business Analyst to sit within the Corporate Services Directorate in the Strategy, Projects and Performance team. This role will be focused on supporting delivery of the Procurement Act projects. It will work with a wide range of stakeholders in our Procurement, Finance and Technical teams. The Procurement Act will come into force on 24 February 2025. The Procurement Act aims to improve the way public procurement is regulated in order to be simpler, more flexible and embed increased transparency. There are three areas of focus for MTVH:
- Governance, compliance and reporting
- Processes and policy
- Stakeholder and supply chain engagement The business analyst role is pivotal in supporting these priorities by capturing requirements, producing business processes and data flows. You will need to create priority areas to address the most impacted areas first, work with Technology to understand any dependencies on what needs to be communicated and understand different business areas and their needs.

Expert knowledge and understanding of business analysis tools and techniques and an ability to clearly document business requirements and processes. You will need to be able to analyse data and requirements to provide insight and recommendations to feed into the project. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to foster good working relationships.
