Business Analyst

Working in the Tech team, you will work alongside multiple teams such as Operations, Merchandising, eCommerce, Finance and CX to scope out exciting new projects. The projects will include ERP implementation, PIM Onboarding, WMS, Integration, eCommerce and other cross functional initiatives. You will be involved in defining the requirements, mapping out the processes, working with suppliers, working on RFPs and defining the success metrics. You will be self-motivated, capable of working with limited supervision, great at building relationships with stakeholders, pro-actively looking for delivering value quickly and safely. You will be detail oriented and willing to challenge assumptions.,

• Capture and document all project requirements from identified stakeholders, including functional and nonfunctional requirements, using appropriate techniques.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to document business processes, creating prototypes and documenting metrics / KPIs for success.
• Facilitate workshops and conduct stakeholder interviews.
• Define best practices for project inceptions / definitions.
• Brainstorm alternative routes or solutions to deliver value quickly and safely.
• Create a learning culture, by mentoring stakeholders on tools and processes for capturing requirements.
• Escalate and update the project's direction & scope based on urgency.
• Develop and implement appropriate business analysis tools and methodologies within the team.
• Help foster an agile and responsive culture.
• Compile and maintain good quality documentation.
• Manage senior stakeholders within Oh Polly and 3rd party suppliers.
  
  Experience working as a Business Analyst on projects involving internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers, ideally in a retail environment.
• Good understanding of data within a retailer, multi party set up is a must.
• Experience of PIM, WMS, ERP or eCommerce applications would be an advantage.
• Experience of full delivery lifecycle as a Business Analyst, including project initiation, requirement capture, scope and change management, development support, UAT, hypercare and benefits realisation.
• Experience of business process mapping and prototyping.
• Good commercial acumen.
• Passionate about delivering incremental change that delivers true business value.
• Ability to manage multiple streams of work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong influencing skills with an ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Adaptable, the role requires a willingness to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role, whether that be testing, support, operations, and documentation.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision.
• Capable of working to both tactical and strategic timescales, prioritising effectively.
