EDAO (European Digital Appliances Office) offers leadership, guidance, expertise and support of the Business and Product Marketing strategies for Samsung Electronics Home Appliances across Europe. We take full responsibility for the total business performance of Samsung across 17 subsidiaries within Europe. Home Appliances is one of the fastest growing businesses within Samsung Electronics and EDAO helps define and drive Global Strategy into local execution. Additionally, it leads the broader product, sales, retail and marketing community to deliver excellence in execution. A small dynamic team with a genuine passion for innovation and a desire to propel Samsung to a true number one position in the category across Europe. Role and Responsibilities

  • Analyse external and internal business environment along with current business status to strategically identify critical issues and support the development of responsive strategies to set the course of action.
  • You will support the development/improvement of business reports - providing management with regular business analytics and results to strengthen the business monitoring function.
  • Business Performance - monitor and provide regular updates on essential business metrics, including revenue, pricing, market share, and profitability.
  • Market Knowledge - analyse, understand and interpret market research data and competitor analysis to shape and steer the business direction.
  • The aim of the role is to bring more efficient, more insightful and more effective communication of our business monitoring critical metrics across the organisation.
  • Business Performance
  • Regularly report on the achievement and forecasting of key business performance indicators, including sell-in, sell-out, pricing, and profit.
  • Market Sensing
  • Provide regular market reports and analysis using the different available sources
  • Track competitor trends and developments that could evolve into a direct challenge or opportunity for the business
  • Key Account Management support
  • Support the development of business reports to manage Key Account performance
  • Liaise with local Samsung teams to understand actionable insights for business improvement at Account level; and identify and expand Best Practices.
  • Executive reporting
  • Support the development of business reports, executive presentations, customer meetings
  • Liaise with wider organisation and teams, including product and marketing, to secure inputs to inform strategy and business reporting.
  • Special Projects
  • Engage-in ad-hoc projects centred around a particular market or business opportunity providing data and insights to the relevant members of the team.

  • Has great communication skills and ability to work with people across multiple teams that do not work or report directly to EDAO., A comprehensive business mind-set with a strong commercial foresight is key to really understanding how Samsung is developing and deploying its Home Appliance Strategy and if this execution is delivering the right results.
  • You will enjoy working in a complex environment with multiple partners and defining business issue narratives that binds them all together in a single view of business.
  • You will thrive in a fast moving and dynamic environment that requires them to work with, support/ assist and make valuable contributions to many team members (in the Europe Office, HQ Office and local Subsidiary Offices)
