Full Job Description

As an experienced IT Business Analyst within the Finance & Financial Operations domain, you will be involved in a key global transformation programme. As a member of the product team, working autonomously and within a team, you will play a pivotal role working with business stakeholders and technical teams alike in driving change and efficiency across the organisation., Business Analysis and Delivery:

  • Plan, deliver, and assure business analysis deliverables for workstreams.
  • Drive and manage scope and design for workstreams, assessing risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solutions.
  • Lead business requirement gathering and documentation for prioritised enhancements, projects, and defects in the change management repository.
  • Ensure solutions meet design-to-operate principles and plan effective transitions to operations.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, keeping them informed and managing expectations.
  • Ensure transparent communication with business collaborators throughout the lifecycle of change and release management processes.
  • Maintain and build key relationships with external IT teams and internal business collaborators.
  • Innovation and improvement:
  • Generate innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities.
  • Standardize and reinforce processes for eliciting requirements, designing, and validating system functionality.
  • Ensure solutions deliver benefits aligned with longer-term strategic goals.
  • Technical Skills and coordination:
  • Operate as a Business Analyst across functions, translating business needs into functional designs for technical teams.
  • Capture and prioritize features and functionality within the delivery backlog.
  • Ensure developed items meet business requirements before formal release management cycles.
  • Project and change management:
  • Lead backlog grooming activities as part of scrum prioritization.
  • Coordinate change across different delivery teams, managing conflicting priorities.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with IT projects, goals, and architecture.
  • Manage functional delivery through various digital disciplines, securing business sign-off for solutions.

    Proven experience in utilisation of data-driven analysis and modeling to prototype problem solutions.
  • Detailed knowledge of financial reporting requirements in a trading environment.
  • Experience operating within commodities and/or financial markets and associated Trading processes.
  • Proven experience working with Finance and/or Treasury systems.
  • Exposure to the full trade lifecycle with a focus on Finance, Financial Operations & Treasury functions.
  • Demonstrable experience in coordinating complex change.
  • Delivered change under both waterfall and agile SDLC methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Diligent and dependable with strong integrity
