Full Job Description
To support the management and reporting of data across our property estate, we have a vacancy for a Business Analyst who is responsible for the monitoring and reporting of the progress of numerous property programmes and CAPEX spend, within the Royal Mails Real Estate, Construction Property and Facilities Management functions.,
- Ownership of team deliverables across the property function, allocating tasks, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and driving decision-making.
- Co-ordinate with the Head of Portfolio Strategy, Real Estate, Construction, Property senior leadership team to understand project delivery and progress and report within the according governance routes.
- Create a reporting framework and associated templates/documents to summarise programme status and effectively communicate key information to stakeholders.
- Lead the project update meetings to bring transparency and clarity to project status and ownership.
- Identify gaps and shortcomings in data and systems, propose programme/process improvements to maximise the efficiency of the process.
- Undertake data analysis, manipulation and reporting including presentation in excel, powerpoint and maps-based formats.
- The ability to communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Engagement at a local/regional level to share accurate reporting of property activity to support planning and minimise business continuity impact at a regional and national level., UK based with nationwide travel to support and attend project meetings.
You need to demonstrate the following skills and experience on your application: - Excellent numerical and computer analysis skills to manage and review data & programmes (PowerPoint, advanced Excel, Power BI , PlanView).
- Good communicator with strong written and presentational skills.
- Ability to develop bespoke reporting tools, analyse complex data and solve problems.
- Good stakeholder management, relationship management with a track record of working effectively with others.
- Proven record of supporting and developing the management of property programmes and data.
- Relevant PMO qualifications would be beneficial.
