Full Job Description

  • Maintaining the execution/ business plans based on the BPT (Business Planning Tool) inputs from the retail account teams for all categories.
  • Maintaining the week on week changes in BPT and keeping a roadmap of changes.
  • Become the BPT expert within the consumer team.
  • Supporting the 4P team in managing the promotions calendar with the retailers
  • Ensuring promos are executed go live in timely fashion within the retailers
  • Building co-data reports and sharing insights/ reports that can be shared with the sales teams ahead of the consumer sales report
  • Identifying trends in weekly/monthly GFK/IDC data and heat map data.
  • This role will be an excellent opportunity to learn about category management within the consumer electronics sector. You will be working very closely with the Lenovo category managers across the consumer products. This includes Windows PC (Notebook/ Desktop), Gaming, Chromebooks, Visuals, Android Tablets and Accessories. Working in the category team will give you an almost 360 view of the business, you will be working alongside many of the other parts of the business including sales, marketing, supply chain, operations and finance. The successful candidate will join a high performing team, and whilst the role is the junior position within the team, you will gain great experience of how the Lenovo Consumer business operates and pick up a good understanding of what other departments in the business do. It will be a busy full on schedule, and your role will be contributing significantly to the success of this business unit but will give you an excellent start and exposure to your career.
