Representing the Solutions Process, Change and Readiness Function, the successful individual will be responsible to define, lead and successfully deliver the business change programme/projects. The primary objective and outcome is to set Heathrow up for success as we continue to realise our vision of Heathrow delivering 'The best airport service in the world'.

The role will be responsible for delivery of process, technology, and infrastructure/asset change to support Heathrow business requirements. The post holder will own and provide assurance for solutions.

Operating in a highly complex environment, a key element of the role will be collaboration; managing relationships across the business with key stakeholders both internally and externally, including strategy, operations, suppliers, airlines and other industry partners.

As a key part of the Solutions Process, Change and Readiness team this role will ensure portfolio delivery and alignment to strategic intent and KPIs, where shortfalls exist the role will be responsible for identifying appropriate solutions to deliver the required performance improvement

  • Identifying, developing & deploying transformative process, technology or infrastructure-based solutions to deliver improvements.

  • Managing the integration of any solution into the operation to support improved service

  • Leading the assessment of the root causes of operational issues identified and work collaboratively across the organisation to design, develop and agree suitable solutions

  • Leading and delivering define portfolio of business change projects and initiatives, ensuring all development assurance, management of change and regulatory requirement activity (i.e. CAA) is completed.

  • Defining requirements and delivering desired business outcomes through capturing intent and benefit of solution and establish robust and compelling business cases.

  • Driving improved efficiency, service and value from solution.

  • Creating and maintaining reporting documents as required to interface with other parts of the business on a regular and ad-hoc basis., Our agile approach offers the opportunity to combine home working with meetings, events and training at the airport. All roles involve some on-site working each week, so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.

    Experience of working with technical or cross functional programmes or projects

  • Adaptable & flexible (agile) to deliver to business needs, timescales & priorities

  • Resilient, Positive and determined with a can-do attitude

  • Ability to Engage, Influence, build strong relationships, communicate and collaborate across all internal/external stakeholder groups, providing great stakeholder management at all levels. (communicating, networking, stakeholder management). Excellent problem-solving skills are of high importance.



  • Ideally, you'll have:
  • Programme Management or Project Management qualification or equivalent experience

  • Excellent analytical and data management skills

  • Yellow belt Lean Six Sigma
