Full Job Description

  • Operating the company's business continuity systems and processes; working with business stakeholders to identify and document critical business impacts, recovery plans and priorities

  • Devising and delivering appropriate training programmes that support the business stakeholders in understanding their business continuity related duties and responsibilities

  • Being the company's focal point and subject matter expert for business continuity

  • Maintaining agreed certification standards for Business Continuity (ISO22301)

  • Ensuring that the business continuity management system is implemented and maintained to meet the requirements of the Operational Framework and appropriate international standard(s)

  • Ensuring that timely corrective action is taken on any detected non-compliances in our business continuity management systems

  • Liaising with the management representatives of customers, subcontractors and suppliers as required, Join our dynamic team as a Business Continuity Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping and safeguarding our organisational resilience. In this exciting position, you'll lead, develop, and maintain our business continuity management programme, ensuring we're prepared to tackle and mitigate the effects of any business interruptions. You'll be instrumental in supporting all business plan activities, building a robust framework that enhances the resilience of our critical services and products. Additionally, you'll ensure our operations meet BAE Systems compliance requirements for Business Continuity and Resilience, contributing to our commitment to excellence and stability.

    An understanding of ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management Systems) would be highly advantageous

  • Thorough understanding of risk management and ideally operating in a business continuity environment

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Solid project management experience and application

  • Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) or equivalent would be highly desirable

    Salary: £65,000 + depending on experience, You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
