Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Assistant to join our Business Development Team. The ideal candidate will support with identifying business drives and opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients. This role is crucial in driving the company's growth and expanding our market research. As a Business Development Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to our Business Development Lead. Your responsibilities will include coordinating office activities, assisting in community and marketing initiatives, networking in our local community and ensuring efficient operations.,

  • Implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners.

  • Support with organizing, and executing community events, community talks and training presentations.

  • Build and maintain a network of contacts within the industry to facilitate business development efforts.

  • Monitor social media channels for feedback, enquiries, and engagement opportunities.

  • Completion of administration activities whilst being reactive to the needs of the business.

  • Assistance within the recruitment team, reviewing applications, helping with the onboarding process for new candidates.

  • Maintain effective systems ensuring that all databases and filing are kept up to date.

  • Working both at our main office in Milton Keynes and our satellite office in Buckingham.

  • Essential Criteria
  • Competent using office programs (e.g. MS Office, Google Docs etc.) with the aptitude to learn new software & systems.

  • Proven experience in office administration within a busy office environment.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

  • Strong team player with the confidence to work alone.
