Full Job Description

This is an exciting time to join Public Digital in a Business Development Coordinator role. You will be working with a fast-growing management consultancy, supporting our consultancy teams to grow their existing accounts and win new business. Public Digital works with prominent institutions across the public, private and charitable sectors to transform their ways of working. Our clients include large businesses, government departments and national government. We often work on the cutting edge of public policy and service delivery, working with global leaders. The Business Development Coordinator works within the Business Development Team, reporting to the Business Development Lead. You will work closely with other members of a small team with responsibility for efficiently managing business development processes and administration, identifying and handling new inbound enquiries, and supporting the development and submission of bids and tenders. This role would suit someone who is looking for largely remote home-based work and/or flexible hours. We are looking for someone with substantial administrative experience and strong communication skills who is able to actively contribute to the growth of the team and organisation.,

  • Monitoring and actioning of inbound telephone calls and emails relating to new business enquiries, bid submissions and management of a central inbox.
  • Updating and maintaining centrally located 'bid library' of resources that support business development activities, including standard company information, CVs, case studies, client references, and reusable content.
  • Managing procurement portals, including registration and bid submissions.
  • Diary management and organising kick-off meetings and other communication touchpoints related to new business and bids.
  • Supporting the smooth operation of the sales cycle from first contact to contractual agreement by engaging stakeholders
  • Using subscription digital platforms to identify and share potential new business opportunities.
  • With training, becoming an experienced and confident user of our CRM, Hubspot.
  • Opportunity to lead on new and emerging projects to support business needs., The role holder will receive full training for all of the tasks listed above and will work closely with the Business Development Lead who will manage and coach them. This includes:
  • Stakeholder management and engagement
  • Knowledge management of sales and bidding resources
  • Portal management and registration processes
  • Library maintenance, tracking, logging and knowledge management skills
