Full Job Description

Chubb now has an opportunity for a Business Development Director for London. This is a key position on the strategic growth and brand awareness focused on new clients within London construction and infrastructure developments. The primary purpose of the role will be to define, implement and execute a strategy that will optimize business from new clients and maximise the profitability of sustainable contracts for the three entities listed above. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious business where your drive, enthusiasm and interpersonal skills are as critical as you network across multiple channels of the London Construction market to enhance the brands and reputation. What will I be doing as a Business Development Director?

  • You will provide profitable market penetration, strategic planning and tactical development of the sales activity and approach into Tier 1 Main Contractors, Consultants, insurance companies High-Profile End Users, to increase year on year profitable business.
  • You will Identify and develop a pipeline of new development opportunities to include product suite and marketing
  • You will Proactively manage relationships with key internal stakeholders and external influencers
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the target markets and client organisations so that Chubb's image is enhanced, and growth is realized.

    In depth experience within and an understanding of the Construction industry in the UK
  • Expert knowledge of the Main Contractors, Building Consultants, Architects, M&Es & End Users across the South East
  • Senior sales and management experience within either CNI or the Security industry
  • Demonstrable experience in client retention management
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication/negotiation skills
  • Evidence of ability to quickly form productive relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Current UK driving licence
