Full Job Description
Job Purpose: The Business Development Executive is responsible for prospecting and generating new sales leads for the New Business Executives and the development of leads for all the Business Solutions products.,
- Create quote appointments, targeted @ 40 per month, for the New Business Executives, with an income target of £5000 per month. Commission will be paid once target is reached.
- To ensure the targets are met you will be required to achieve 2 hours per day talk time.
- Manage own prospects, developing into quality sales appointments and refreshing the data in TAM.
- Investigate and research prospects updating the data held in TAM, identifying key decision makers and the business profile.
- Obtain and confirm prospects renewal dates and record or update in the TAM record to ensure the continuous development of the database-targeted at 30 renewal dates per month.
- Deliver leads for the Business Solutions suite of products: Energy, Telecoms, IT, Employee Benefits, Recruitment & Consultancy, Business Supplies, Health Protection, Wealth Management & Finance and Risk Management.
- Attend New Business team meetings and huddles
- Ad-hoc project support.
- Follow TCF principles and applying FCA's 6 key outcomes to your role
- Ensure all statutory and company legislation is followed to protect clients, colleagues and business interest. Knowledge & Experience:
- Demonstrable ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets.
- Proven track record of strong client relationships.
Good interpersonal skills. - Capable of working on own initiative and managing own workload effectively
- Able to work co-operatively with New Business and GI teams and wider QCIS team members.
- Demonstrate resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Competent with Microsoft office, word, excel and outlook.
