Full Job Description

We have a brand-new opportunity for a Business Development and Innovation Analyst to join our Growth and Development team at Platform Housing. Our Growth and Development Team is an exciting place to be. We have a growing new build development programme, across a very large geography and as a market leader we are looking for someone to join our team to help further our reputation as a "go to partner" in the market.

As a Business Development and Innovation Analyst, you will support the Land, Partnerships & New Business team to assess and progress opportunities, offers, and bids. You will be responsible for ensuring opportunity and pipeline data is up to date and liaise with other teams across the Group to gather relevant information.

What could you be doing?

The Business Development and Innovation Analyst will be responsible for analysing data to identify trends in demand. You will turn this data into recommendations for Land, Partnerships and New Business teams to inform strategic growth across identified geographies.

Key to the role is also analysing opportunities, offers and outcomes to identify resulting trends. As a Business Development and Innovation Analyst, you will lead on the development of process to capture construction costs by geography, route to market and contractor.

You will own the New Business pipeline and trackers, ensuring reconciliation with our development appraisal tool. You'll also maintain and update the growth map, liaising regularly with internal and external stakeholders to track any changes.

You will work with Land & New Business team to identify schemes to deliver innovation, support on appraising opportunities and lead on scheme and initiative reviews related to innovation.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in an analytical or strategic role. This would be ideally gained within the Housing or Construction sector; however, you will have a good understanding of current trends, policy and frameworks within the sector.

Experience of developing policy and guidance is key in this role, and you will require the ability to present and influence stakeholders at all levels through an evidence-based approach.

The Business Development and Innovation Analyst will have an analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to think differently and be future focussed.

You will be across the latest trends in Housing and Construction, regularly horizon scanning, therefore an innovative approach is the key to this role. You will be required to develop strategic recommendation on the back of your research and so you will have the ability to present and influence senior colleagues.
