As a Senior Business Development Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the Global Product HVAC.R team, reporting directly to the Regional Senior Sales Director. Your primary mission will be to drive business development strategies for Johnson Controls' HVAC-R Global Products, contributing to the creation of smarter, more sustainable communities. Your efforts will focus on developing and executing programs that spur revenue growth, including go-to-market strategies, market opportunity analyses, and competitive assessments. Your expertise will support sales excellence across the HVAC-R sector within the EMEA and India regions.

How You Will Do It:

Strategic Market Analysis: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies across the region. You'll facilitate communication and the sharing of best practices to ensure a cohesive approach.

Revenue Growth: Spearhead business development initiatives and long-range planning efforts aimed at delivering consistent sales revenue growth

Product and Program Development: Identify key requirements and prioritize initiatives to aid in the development of products, programs, and support tools.

Team Leadership: Collaborate with the HVAC-R leadership team to organize and build a high-performing team that meets business objectives for key markets.

Performance Management: Monitor and support market sales performance against established benchmarks such as Sales Management Disciplines (SMD), Salesforce.com CRM, and Account Management practices. You'll ensure a consistent approach across all commercial teams and assist in the development of process and productivity measurements.

Strategic Engagement: Participate in strategic and business reviews, critical opportunity evaluations, and executive-level meetings. You'll also serve as a permanent team member on strategic programs, contributing to high-level growth strategies.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years in Business Development or a related Analyst role.

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or Marketing. A master's degree is preferred.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead strategic programs from development through to implementation.

Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing requests.

Collaboration: Exceptional ability to collaborate effectively with teams, demonstrating excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. You should be comfortable challenging others and being challenged.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of HVAC.R refrigeration and heat pump technologies.
