Full Job Description

To be instrumental in positioning Ixion, part of Shaw Trust Group to maximise opportunities from the government's Skills for Jobs White Paper and the Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping adults to gain the skills they need to progress in work at any stage of their lives.

This role is key to identifying new business opportunities with individuals, focusing predominantly on expanding and promoting the delivery of L3 to L6 qualifications funded through and Advanced Learner Loan. Ensuring opportunities are maximised and converted to generate "learner starts".

Establishing and maintaining relationships with employers, referral agencies, internal and external stakeholders and applicants throughout their journey with Ixion. Working alongside learner and employer engagement teams to maximise opportunities with other learning and skills contract teams to promote and sell Ixion's training /skills offer and maximise direct delivery/product opportunities across the Group.

Supporting the Learning and Skills division in gaining "Starts" in all other areas such as Apprenticeships, ESF/Traineeships etc by making referrals to other contracts where necessary.

+ Relevant qualification in particular discipline, for example IAG Level 3/4 or Recruitment based qualification
+ Experience and knowledge of further education Level 3 to Level 6 qualifications
+ Excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software and previous experience of working with databases
+ Understanding of data protection and information security
