Location: Southwest Region (UK) (Herefordshire, Gwent, Mid Glamorgan, West Glamorgan, South Glamorgan, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Devon) We are actively seeking a committed Business Development Manager to become part of a dynamic well-established team to cover the Southwest Region. With a portfolio of eight essential product categories supported by expert design and technical services, we collaborate with architects, builders, and the construction supply chain, contributing to Britain's architectural landscape., As the Business Development Manager, you'll be:

  • Enhance sales and profitability via strategic product promotion and active selling.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the company, surpassing customer expectations within the territory.
  • Advocate for the company's product range to the Housing Developer sector, aligning with sales goals.
  • Foster growth of both new and existing customer relations to leverage account potential fully.
  • Cultivate a robust site pipeline to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Regularly analyse sales data to inform business strategies, incorporating new technologies to optimize the sales process.
  • Take responsibility for developing Joint Business Plans with principal customers to drive value and increase market share.
  • Maintain exemplary operational standards, including consistent CRM reporting.

    Possess a solid background in construction product sales and a track record of success.
  • Exhibit strong negotiation and account management abilities.
  • Utilize relevant software efficiently and demonstrate creative, analytical, and commercial acumen.
  • Show a results-driven attitude, self-motivation, and resilience.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Housing Developer market and related products., Proficient in gaining product specifications and proactive solution selling.
  • Skilled in lead generation for Brick, cast stone, walling stone. Roofing experience is desirable.
  • Adept at engaging with key stakeholders within the housing developer market.
  • Capable of identifying, implementing, and managing commercially viable opportunities.
  • Ability to increase influential relationships within the developer sector at a regional level.
  • Competent in executing account sales strategies.
  • Ready to report to the National Business Development Manager.
  • Able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in the commercial team.
  • Versatile in covering a wide range of product categories.
