Elevate Your Career: Join Us as a Business Development Manager in our Public Sector division with a focus on the North (M62 regions). This is a hybrid role offering you the flexibility to handle your diary as you see fit. While we value face-to-face interaction through monthly team meetings and customer visits, you're in control of how and when you work. If you are a B2B Sales Leader who thrives on forging strategic partnerships, exceeding targets and making a meaningful impact then we want to hear from you! Our division is rapidly expanding, with untapped potential worth hundreds of millions in cross-sell opportunities, particularly within an already established customer base. You will have the advantage of aligning with these customers, many of whom have yet to fully explore our offerings. You'll be at the forefront, crafting and implementing growth strategies, working with Customer Success Managers to develop opportunities, and leading virtual teams to land new business. Your mission: Hit sales targets, convert leads, and secure high-value deals (typically £500k+). Not forgetting creating compelling customer propositions, gaining internal agreement, and delivering winning presentations that get results.
- Demonstrable success in B2B sales within Telco or IT, especially in identifying and closing large, complex sales opportunities.
- Knowledge/experience of selling telephony and security SaaS solutions.
- Deep understanding of the dynamics in the Public Sector and/or local authorities' industry.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams focused on large business opportunities, with a knack for engaging partners at all levels.
- Strong background in leading and closing substantial contracts (£500k+), with an ability to navigate complex agreements.
- Proven ability to accurately report sales forecasts using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce. The other stuff we are looking for We'd also love you to bring;
