Full Job Description
The School of Law and Policing is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving forward the School's growth and engagement strategies.
In this role, you will:
Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the School's portfolio, including apprenticeships, student recruitment, knowledge exchange, and CPD programmes.
Manage alumni relations and strengthen stakeholder engagement to build lasting partnerships.
Lead on strategic business development initiatives, ensuring impactful outcomes for the School.
Work collaboratively across the University to deliver results that align with our strategic objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with the vision, expertise, and creativity to support the School's growth and innovation.
We are looking for a candidate who brings:
A good honours degree (or equivalent experiential learning).
Proven expertise in business development, ideally within the education sector or a related field.
Experience engaging with business networks and cultivating strong partnerships.
Exceptional project management skills with a track record of delivering results on time and within scope.
Outstanding interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
A creative and forward-thinking approach to identifying income-generating opportunities.
The ability to manage workloads effectively, work to plan, and achieve set targets.
