Full Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in distribution sales across the EMEA region. The role focuses on establishing and transforming distribution channels, converting distributors from competitors, and fostering strategic relationships with distribution partners. This dynamic position can be based in one of our EMEA locations, with flexibility to travel across the UK and Europe. Key Attributes for Success:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth through distribution channels.
  • Identify and prioritize markets and opportunities for channel expansion and transformation.
  • Build a robust pipeline of opportunities by leveraging market data and insights.
  • Channel Development
  • Transform distribution networks by converting competitive distributors and strengthening existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate with distributors' business owners to develop strategies that maximize their profitability and performance.
  • Design and implement incentive programs to motivate distributors to prioritize Enerpac products.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
  • Partner with EMEA Commercial Directors to ensure consistent execution of channel strategies.
  • Maintain deep understanding of the distribution landscape and share insights to enhance internal and external capabilities.
  • Act as a mentor to sales teams, fostering a culture of distribution-centric sales growth.
  • Relationship Building
  • Cultivate strong, multi-level relationships with key distributors and stakeholders across EMEA.
  • Actively engage with distributors to understand their business needs and tailor solutions that deliver value.
  • Promote Enerpac's industrial solutions platform as a leading offering in the market.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Track and report on distribution channel performance using CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to align with EMEA business objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize channel strategies for maximum efficiency and impact.

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in distribution sales management or channel development.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools, mechanical, hydraulics, or electronics industries.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in an international environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • English fluency is essential; additional European languages are highly valued
