Full Job Description

To position the company as a leader in Learning & Development (L&D) by establishing partnerships with businesses and promoting tailored training solutions that meet workforce needs.,

  • Introduce large, levy-paying employers to the company's range of training services, effectively communicating opportunities to relevant stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Engage in partnership development and account management, aligning with company policies and collaborating with organisations to support growth and financial goals.
  • Present the company's seamless, plug-in Learning and Development services through appropriate communication methods.
  • Achieve strategic business objectives for revenue, learners, and client accounts while adhering to corporate social responsibility policies.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement strategic development plans within the sales division.
  • Take responsibility for partnership development, account management, and performance monitoring, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Deliver high-quality services to all clients, reflecting the company's customer-centric approach.
  • Develop and diversify the company's apprenticeship offerings and design commercial programs that meet client needs.
  • Regularly update the company CRM system to track activity, contract success, learner enrolment, and retention rates.
  • Build and maintain links with key national and local partner organisations to ensure training offers are aligned with employer and learner needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure systems and processes create a safe, supportive learning environment. Ensure all safeguarding protocols are followed.
  • Complete administrative tasks and provide documentation as required.
  • Liaise with colleagues across departments to support shared goals.
  • Adopt and promote the company's cultural pillars to maintain a positive working environment.
  • Support staff development activities, including identifying training needs for employees across the organisation.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification (Desirable)
  • Professional business-related qualification (Desirable), Minimum of 3 years' experience in business development, preferably in the education and skills sector (Essential)
  • Experience in corporate account management, developing senior-level relationships (Essential)
  • Experience in preparing tenders, proposals, and propositions to win new business (Desirable)
  • Proven ability to identify revenue growth opportunities and implement key account management strategies (Essential)
  • Experience providing consultancy / advisory services and linking program solutions to business objectives (Essential)
  • Supporting senior leadership and operational departments to measure ROI for levy-paying accounts (Essential)
  • Engaging with senior business leaders to maximise ROI from apprenticeship levy budgets (Essential)
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior management across sectors (Essential)
