Join us during an exciting growth phase to identify new opportunities and generate further business relationships across the Data Centre market in Europe. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders within the Distribution Business Segment to develop and support new business proposals. By building strong relationships both internally and with customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the best value for our customers and driving opportunities for Cummins. Advance your career in this unique role and unlock your potential In this role, here are some of the ways you will make an impact: · Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. · Collaborating with the engineering design, project management and global business development teams, determining the best value Cummins can offer to suit the requirements of the Data Center customers. · Preparing and delivering compelling sales proposals and presentations. · Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals, complying with relevant company and country guidelines and legislations. · Supports the overall sales strategy through good communication and coordination across the sales organization. · Mentoring to support with the development of less experienced sales and account team staff.

  • Previous experience in a business development or sales role with commercial acumen.
  • Previous experience within European Data Centre sector is essential.
  • Technical background is necessary with experience of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Adaptable approach with outstanding communication and teamwork skills, capable of working on complex projects
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to find and drive new business
  • Experience with PowerGen or similar is highly desirable.

    · £47,600 - £59,500 (depending on experience)
