The role involves managing a portfolio of internal accounts, facilitating seamless communication between internal teams and clients, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our client relationships while contributing to the growth of our business., As the Business Development Manager for the secured car finance industry in the UK, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence. Leveraging your industry knowledge and networking skills, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and maintaining our competitive edge., Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Analyse market data and customer feedback to refine and enhance our product offerings.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the secured car finance sector.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, dealerships, and other relevant entities.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
  • Present our financing solutions to potential clients, addressing their needs and demonstrating the value of our services.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Understand clients' requirements and tailor solutions to meet their unique financing needs.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, underwriting, and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Provide feedback from the market to influence product enhancements and service improvements.
  • Reporting and Forecasting:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market developments.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Compliance and Regulations:
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all activities adhere to legal standards.
  • Knowledge of the electrification of the UK car park.

    Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the financial services industry, preferably in secured car finance or related sectors.
  • Strong network of contacts within the automotive industry, including dealerships, manufacturers, and industry associations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
