We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in Portsmouth. In this role, you will focus on prospecting new business opportunities, maintaining our CRM database, and conducting initial outreach to engage potential clients. You will play a crucial part in driving our business growth by identifying, qualifying, and securing appointments with leads for our sales team.,
- Lead Generation:Identify potential leads through various methods such as research, social media, networking events, and inbound marketing campaigns.
- Database Management:Maintain and update the CRM system with new leads and contact information to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Cold Calling:Make outbound calls to potential leads to introduce Transalis' products and services, creating interest and setting the stage for further engagement.
- Email Campaigns:Craft and send personalized emails to engage prospects and nurture relationships.
- Social Selling:Utilize social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, to connect with potential leads, start conversations, and build professional relationships.
- Assess Needs:Engage with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and business objectives, ensuring they are a good fit for our solutions.
Experience:Previous experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the software or technology sector. - Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Interpersonal Skills:Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Analytical Skills:Ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Self-Motivation:Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Technical Aptitude:Understanding of EDI, E-invoicing, or related technologies is a plus.
