Full Job Description

  • Provide support for the Value Solutions team, including handling sales activities such as lead generation, opportunity tracking, and sales forecasting.
  • Assist Value Solution Managers in coordinating business retention and development opportunities.
  • Support the Value Solutions Modelling Lead in refining pricing models and developing business cases.
  • Prepare and present detailed data analysis to inform decision-making and strategy formulation.
  • Lead the development of value tools, including tracking activities, analysing data, and providing growth insights to the sales team.
  • Monitor tenders, track CRM reporting, and provide actionable insights to the Value Solutions team.
  • Track and analyse pricing trends, offering data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regional and national healthcare bodies (NHSE, ICS, HSE, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to support business growth and streamline operations., We care about sharing information and experiences as this helps us learn from our mistakes and each other.     We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our Healthcare Value Solutions team here at Fresenius Medical care. In this role, you will support the identification, pursuit, and securing of new business opportunities within the healthcare and NHS landscape. Your responsibilities will include strategic and operational support to drive growth, retain customers, and expand our market presence. This is a full-time, 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday position with travel required across the UK & Ireland which will include nights away from home and therefore will require a Full UK Drivers Licence.,
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a business development, sales support, or data analysis role, ideally within the healthcare or public sector.
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement processes, and healthcare regulatory frameworks is highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and delivering insights to inform business strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and advanced knowledge of Excel and Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI), Machine Learning, and advanced analytics tools is a plus.
  • Willing to travel within the UK & Ireland, including nights away from home and hold a Full UK Drivers Licence.
