As a Business Enabler, you'll gain experience, build relationships and grow your knowledge while providing mission-critical support. How? By gathering intelligence and working closely with our partners, we detect such threats and work out ways to stop them., For graduates, there's our Intelligence Officer Development Programme, which covers the first four years of an Intelligence Officer's career. It's designed to teach you about investigations and give you the skills to run them. Graduates can also join our Intelligence and Data Analyst Development Programme: a structured two-year programme where you'll analyse and interpret data that's vital to our investigations. Then, there's our Technology Graduate Development Programme ran jointly with MI6; another structured programme that equips you to work in our pioneering IT function. For graduates looking for a rewarding career in corporate services, there's the role of Business Enabler. Finally, graduates can also join as Russian or Mandarin analysts.
To join, you'll have (or be expecting) a 2:2 degree or above in any subject or you'll have work experience where you have developed and used the skills and qualities that will be crucial for this role. You'll be able to communicate effectively, establish productive working relationships, work well in a team and be adaptable to new working environments. With great organisational skills and attention to detail, you'll trust your own judgment and have confidence in making your own decisions. There's no one 'type' of person we're after; Business Enablers come from all kinds of backgrounds, and their diverse perspectives help to safeguard the UK. To be eligible to apply, you must be a British Citizen. If you hold dual nationality, of which one component is British, you will nonetheless be considered. - £37,281 rising to £40,303 after 1 year (London)
- £34,777 rising to £37,596 after 1 year (Cheltenham and Manchester) Flexible working: we support full-time, part-time, compressed, flexible hours and job sharing, subject to business need. Due to the nature of this role, there will be limited opportunities for home working.
