Full Job Description

Swim England is seeking an experienced Business Engagement Manager to join our team on a permanent basis, working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. The role is home-based with travel required: specifically this role will cover the East Region which will include Nottingham, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire., This is an exciting opportunity working within the Business Engagement Department as part of a busy Business Engagement team, responsible for delivering, developing and maintaining effective relationships with a range of aquatic and non-aquatic stakeholders, supporting the needs of the sector by effectively positioning and delivering the portfolio of Swim England and Institute of Swimming products and services.

Reporting to the Senior Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for working effectively across the sector to highlight the value of pools, helping to maximise usage by providing industry-leading products, initiatives, advice and guidance.

In order to be shortlisted for the next stage in the process you must demonstrate within your application how you meet the following essential criteria:

  • Experience working in the leisure sector with a good understanding of aquatic businesses, leisure management and sport development.

  • Experience managing strategic level relationships with partner organisations, with an innovative and solution-focused approach

  • An ability to work in a KPI-driven environment, being able to prioritise work and manage time effectively to ensure KPIs are achieved.

  • Presentation skills including delivery through online platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
