Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity for an Administrator to join our Business Information Systems team in Birmingham on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is a key support for the department and therefore you will be responsible for providing timely, high quality and effective administration services across all areas of the team in particular procurement/finance support and general administration support within.

We are looking for someone who has an organised, proactive approach to their work with the ability to self-manage and multi-task. This role requires someone who has a team player attitude, demonstrating good interpersonal and communication skills with excellent IT Skills, with good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. To succeed within this role, you will require previous administration experience, demonstrating an understanding and willingness to undertake varying tasks required, acting as a support across the team. Your administrative background will ideally present with experience of managing departmental purchase orders (PO's), raising and owning any invoicing queries directly with suppliers or internal accounts payable team. We are looking for the individual within this role to work Wednesday to Friday as part of a job share with the existing member of the team.
