Business Initiatives

  • Involved in the creation and management of strategic and business planning for CBIF, including managing business priorities and the pipeline of activities.
  • Chair business Operational Excellence Forum to evaluate and review delivery performance of new operational or strategic ideas identified and promote the Grow your Own' initiative that enhances efficiency and productivity across CBIF teams.
  • Planning, oversight and delivery of strategic and other business initiatives or projects, to ensure they are achieving their business goals and realising benefits.
  • Delivery of operational excellence initiatives including enhancing ways of working and helping to drive a problem-solving culture across teams, assisting Lean Competency System (LCS) trained and accredited colleagues.
  • Monitor timelines and progress of activities and actions to achieve project milestones.
  • Work with across CBIF business units and functions to ensure business initiatives are delivered effectively to business teams.
  • Define and agree roles and responsibilities and governance mechanisms for new initiatives and changes to existing processes.
  • Assist Invoice Finance in the creation of deliverables against identified initiatives.
  • Identify and make recommendations for new business initiatives.
  • Product Work with business stakeholders to aid in proposition design, approval and delivery in line with the Product and Services standards, ensuring product adherence to governance standards. Data Analysis
  • Perform investigations on data processes to isolate problem areas, outlining and implementing the key areas for change.
  • Utilise data and data analysis techniques to drive informed decision making.
  • Summarise the findings and insight from data analysis in reporting for senior management.
  • Risk & Compliance
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
  • Work with the management team to effectively track and report on any risk events, including assisting with the risk management process.

    You are comfortable with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
  • You have excellent organisation and team collaboration skills.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - ability to investigate, manipulate and present insights from a range of data sources.
  • You have the ability to plan, manage and prioritise a high volume of work requests, working to tight timescales whilst maintaining quality
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • You have advanced Microsoft Office skills Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU :
  • Have experience working within a consultancy environment or internal consulting team to deliver business change.
  • Have excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Possess experience in creating suites of management information and easy to understand dashboards.
