Don't miss this brilliant and exciting opportunity to join our talented and friendly Business Insights team that provides a critical function for Walsall Council and the citizens we serve!

We deliver insight to operational and strategic colleagues - working with them to understand what they need to know, what questions they have and providing the answers to help them make good decisions.

This role is fixed term for 2- years, during which time you will join a cohort of 8 apprentices to undertake the (Masters degree) Level 7 Health & Care Intelligence Specialist delivered by JGA Group.

During your apprenticeship you will complete intensive, modular learning which is delivered remotely. You will then be supported to apply your learning in the workplace with work-based projects across the Business Insights and Public Health teams. You will use utilise innovative analytics, complex information systems and varied data sets to ensure an intelligence-led approach to improving Public Health and reducing health inequalities.

Your work will extremely varied - ranging from advanced analytics, research and evaluation projects and the development of reporting and monitoring products. This keeps it exciting and means there will always be plenty of opportunities to develop and broaden your knowledge and skills across the breadth of public health and care services.
